Save Fashion is a fresh new kind of shop and sale that brings together today's coolest fashion brands in a space that's inspiring and unexpected. Realizing the tired sample sale and outlet vibe had run its course, we decided to create the Sample Sale of our dreams—a place where all our favorite designers came together in one beautiful space and at prices we could all afford. Save Fashion will debut May 1st in New York at one of the City's most iconic destinations: the Port Authority Bus Terminal. With Save Fashion we hope to restore the pure joy of shopping—at a grassroots level, city to city—reminding consumers and designers alike that fashion is, was, and always will be FUN.

POP-UP SHOP

The Gap is opening a Colette pop-up shop for one month in NYC, and while this seems very rad, I know it will be not so rad for me because A. things like this in NY means SO CROWDED YOU WANT TO CRY and B. 54th st? That means I have to go on the weekends, meaning even more crazy crowds.

Spring/Summer '08 items are now up to 90% off, including the Cross Neck Pleat dresses (now $130), the High Waist Belt shorts (now $70), and the men's Seersucker blazers (now $160). clothing swap

I hosted the first annual clothing swap this pasted weekend! What a huge success this was. Not only did i get to purge some clothing but i also scored some really amazing new items from friends. Nothing like a well loved pair of jeans or tee shirt. Besides it is always nice to have a mini party were everyone dresses up, wine is served and shoes are swapped. It's exciting watching your pals leave with new/old fashions. Although, when you see your wears on someone else it does remind you of how great that shirt once was. I am however happy to give.
