this is one of favorite photos by ellen stagg. generally she shoots rougher stuff that i couldn't get away with showing on my blog. however i think this piece is very original in the many textures and colors it produces. besides the over all composition madison almost looks unreal like a doll.

After posting this my pal pointed out to me that she thought this photo was very sexist and sad.
Her reason was because the women's head was covered by her dress, appearing to look like she had been violated in some way. This could also be true.. it was a very interesting take, one that inspired me to comment again.
