tee shirt

i do however kinda love this shirt. what does this say about me..

a new take on the smiths

Did you love The Smiths in the late 80's early 90's? I sure did and tormented my brother with all their music. Not only did i play songs on my record player over and over but made my little brother listen and learn. I thought it was ridiculous when hot topic opened and starting selling the shirts once again only in extra large as was the fashion in the late 90's. well now they are back only this time with an anti war message. Seriously how many times can one shirt come back?

maps and diagrams

When i see these pieces it reminds me that i want to travel to so many places. Will i have the time to cover all this space? Who knows but until then i can just look at these works by Shannon Rankin that offer up some cool art while day dreaming of the places i've yet to go.
Shannon of Selflesh is making some pretty awesome things with these old/new maps. I've been obsessed with maps for a while now and really dig what she is laying down.
You can also find her work for sale on esty or check out her blog.

sweet necture

Just in time for sweet spring/ summer love this new perfume is amazing! Ellen Stagg has created her own perfume out of hand picked oils. If you've ever met this young talented lady you will automatically notice her fresh scent. It is unlike any other: simply because she makes it!!

As described by fellow pal Siege:
"She smells fucking great. When I hang out with her, I smell like her for hours, like a little cloud is hanging around me, and even the stink of NYC can't knock it away. She mixes the scent custom for herself, using special oils she buys just for this. Seriously. That's the kind of thing fucking Cleopatra would do".

You can find a link to were it is being sold on her blog: stagg street.

80's music note

Nouvelle Vague give your classic new wave and punk hits a bossa nova twist. Highlights include The Cure’s “A Forest” getting a tropical twist, complete with jungle sound effects, while the Cult’s “Marian” remains as dark as ever but is now much more delicate, as well as Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart".

I've been listening to this the past couple days and really truly enjoying it!
